Jaylen Wells is a professional basketball player and entrepreneur with a deep commitment to excellence, leadership, and community empowerment. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, His journey—from being overlooked to playing in the NBA—has shaped everything this brand represents. Sleepnation is more than just a name; it’s a mindset. It’s about staying focused, putting in the work, and believing in yourself even when others don’t.
Growing up, he knew what it felt like to be underestimated. That experience fueled his drive, and now, through Sleepnation, he wants to inspire others to embrace that same mentality. Through this brand he says it is for anyone who’s ever been slept on—and chose to rise anyway.

Adam "AD" Alsamariae is a collegiate basketball player, content creator, and entrepreneur originally from the Bay Area, now based in Sacramento. With deep roots in the community, AD is driven by a passion for giving back to the neighborhoods that helped shape him.
His journey in athletics began at a young age and has been marked by both adversity and resilience. From being removed from his high school team, enduring major injuries, and experiencing homelessness, to confronting racism as a mixed-race individual, AD’s path was anything but easy. Yet these obstacles became the foundation of his determination and growth.
Through perseverance, AD carved his own way to collegiate basketball and went on to establish SleepNation, a movement dedicated to empowering youth through sports, storytelling, mentorship, and community engagement. His mission is to help young minorities overcome systemic barriers and avoid the struggles he once faced by creating opportunities for a brighter, more hopeful future.
